Join Kristin Miller, M.Ed, to learn how to incorporate fun and enriching sensory play in your classroom all year long!
Children learn through their 5 senses. Incorporating sensory play into our children’s lives is important to help enhance their growth, development, and learning through hands-on experiences. Sensory play is a fundamental tool to help children with Sensory Processing Disorder and accommodating to meet their learning needs, as well.
Join us in the session to learn how to support children’s growth and development, through sensory play activities and setting up your environment. We will also discuss strategies of how teachers can respond to children’s learning needs based on developmentally appropriate practices, high quality interactions, and supportive communication methods.
